1. Switzers design.
2. Irregular lake, c.250m NE-SW, damed on its NE & along its N fringes, part of Leeswood park/garden layout (Nprn86591); thought to have originated as a relatively formal arrangement of water features in the e.18th C., reconfigured to its current extend later in the century: at the NE end are remains of a mill (Nprn24912), fed from sluice on lake dam; ice houses lie on the S & N fringes of the lake (Nprn37376, 400798): the lake is currently much choked & reduced in extent.
Depicted on OS County series (Flint. XV.16 1872) & labelled 'Fish Pond' on 3rd ed. (1912).
