Description
Whitefriars, Usk, is reputed to be of 12th century origin and the oldest house in Usk. It was built to accomodate visitors to the priory and later converted to a dwelling. The building is two storeys and an attic. The oldest windows are small recessed stone-framed rectangular lights with metal armature. In late 20th century the end bay was divided off and became part of a new dwelling: no.37, linked by a glazed wing.
