Description1. Designed circa 1919 by H.A. Tipping & E.C. Francis; built 1922-3; free arts & crafts Tudor style.
2. In l922/23 the architect Eric Francis designed High Glanau in an Arts-and-Crafts/Vernacular style.
It is a low, gabled stone house, with tile cladding on the upper floors, and a stone tiled roof. The main entrance is on the east side; the garden fronts are to the south and west; and to the north are contemporary ancillary buildings (a double garage, and a guest lodge) in the same style.
