Description
Roughcast. Slate roof. Two storeys and attic in central gable. Plain bargeboards to gable. Attic window is sash with glazing bars. Four similar windows on first floor. Large incongruous shop front.

Possibly of C16/17 origin, the central gable being a recognizably early feature in Chepstow, though altered extensively later. In the early C20, No 7 was a watch and clock maker's business. Early photograph shows a central doorway with main shop window to the right and a double sash window to the left with railings in front.
