Description
One of three farm outbuildings (nprns 37286, 408940), a threshing barn, probably dating from the eighteenth century, lies on the south west side of a farm courtyard some 80m west fof Bach-y-graig Farmhouse (nprn 35642). Built in local rubble to mid height, the upper part is brickwork in English Garden Wall bond; it has a restored slate roof. The great door to the south west has been infilled with later brickwork, incorporating a small doorway. On the north east side the great door remains, but the upper part has been rebuilt in later brickwork. There are ventilation slots within the stonework and in two tiers in the brickwork.
