Description
Dated 1766, this is a red brick with mostly slate roofs, comprising a tower and two wings. The last known use of the north wing before conversion to residential use was as a forge and cart washing building. This range appears to be constructed in two sections, with a square tower at the south end with a King post hipped roof forming the old forge, and a rectangular building with a gabled hipped roof attached.
