DescriptionThe dovecote attached to rear wing of Faenol Fawr is probably contemporary with the house, which is dated 1597. The dovecote is about 5m square and about 6m to the base of the gables, with a stepped gable to each face, in local limestone informally coursed. At the foot of the gables is a deep string course carried around all 4 sides. Small square openings centrally within the gables; door to the north side.
