DescriptionA rubble-built rectangular building, 14m east-west by 7.5m, currently adapted for use as a barn, but with large dressed-stone openings in the north & south walls, indicating thast this was originally the gatehouse to the early 16th century Castleton house, set some 75m to the south across what is thought to have been an open court.
