A restored L-plan range of stone buildings, set on the northern side of a walled court, about 104m north-south by 72m, closed on the southern side by a sea wall, date and purpose uncertain: possibly 17th century.
Traditionally a cavalry barracks, possibly an elaborate stable yard, or riding school (as at Bolsover at a similar period).
