Colliery tips occurring over an area c.600m E-W by 200, SW of Begelly; depicted by OS County series (Pembroke. XXXV.10 1889), with disused shafts at SN11170696; at SN11410689; at SN11380707 and at SN10860709, whence a tramway (nprn 400199) ran east-north-east to join the Saundersfoot Railway (nprn 43052); west of the junction is a disused engine house at SN11300717.
Further, similar features occur to the north (nprn 400195-7).
