DescriptionExcavations for the Talybont-Llanbadarn Fawr gas pipeline in 1986 by the Dyfed Archaeological Trust revealed two parallel ditches 10m apart running north to south, each 3.5-4m wide and at least two metres deep (estimated depth 3-4m). Evidence of re-cuts in the upper fills was observed. To the east of the eastern ditch the former presence of a bank was suggested. The site lies very close to Caer Llety-Llwyd, which is only c.100m to the south-east, and may be related to it. (Information from AW 26, 1986, p32). DAT PRN 13045.
