Single chamber church which may date back to the 13th century but which has been extensively rebuilt. The timbered framed porch is probably 15th century. A number of wallpaintings are noted including; (i) Royal Arms on the west wall (ii) a painted skull on the north wall (iii) a series of C18th fragmentary texts (English) in painted frames, around the church (iv) apostles' creed on the south wall (v) possible Paternoster on the north wall, with elaborate scrollwork border and palimpsest with memento mori.
