St Padarn's Church, Llanbadarn y Garreg, is a small single cell church which may date back to the thirteenth or fourteenth century, though little remains from this period other than, possibly, the south doorway. Wallpaintings include a Stuart Royal Arms above the rood beam, fragments on the north wall and on the plaster tympanum, a Hanoverian Royal Arms in the nave, and English text in the chancel.
