A range of prehistoric features, trackways and other structures in the inter-tidal zone at Goldcliff have been recorded during a program of survey and excavation. The grid reference given is in the centre of the complex and is the location of a Roman inscribed stone. Survey work inland has identified a sequence of apparently localised drainage schemes.
