Description
Situated on the south side of Nant Criafolen, recent ploughing had badly destroyed the area and removed all obvious traces of the enclosure which surrounded the hut. The hut was 7m x 3.5m with an entrance in the north wall. Excavation revealed that the hut had been divided by a partition into two unequal rooms, the larger room to the west containing a central hearth. Surrounding the hut was a drainage gulley which led into a possible enclosure ditch.

The substantial quantities of finds from the excavations of the whole Hafod group dates occupation here to the 15th or 16th century.
