Low earthwork of circular enclosure c.40m diameter preserved centrally within angular field on north facing slope overlooking Afon Afan and Cynonville village. There is a simple entrance on the east side flanked by a possible out-turned bank. The enclosure could be prehistoric, or may belong to a more recent period of stock management. Discovered by D Elliott, Central Register for Air Photography for Wales, from vertical air photos OS 95/082 frame 76 (12 April 1995).
