Description
NAR SH93SW4

The present churchyard overlies the greater part of an irregular banked enclosure, which extends rather further to the south. It is about 124m north-north-east to south-south-west by 84m overall. The present east facing churchyard entrance appears to overlie an out-turned entrance into the enclosure. This may be no more than an earlier churchyard enclosure.
Set off centre within the churchyard is a disturbed, rather irregular mound, 6.0m north-east to south-west by 4.0m and 0.6m high. This has been interpreted as a preaching mound, although it is possible that it is an earlier sepulchral mound.
