Description
1. Disused water-powered corn mill. There is evidence of backshot waterwheel; 'English' spurwheel, two pairs of millstones, sack hoist, wire flour-dressing and oatmeal machines, with evidence of a bolter machine. Condition (1968): poor.
RCAHMW, 1968.
2. The mill pond, formerly to the south of the mill but now filled in, was supplied with water by a headrace (still visible) some 150m long from a weir across the Afon Dulais or Dulas, and also from the Nant Gynwydd. The mill building has been converted to a dwelling; the fate of the machinery is not known.
