Standing stone, probably dating to the Bronze Age. It is a large block of stone standing 1.3m in height and measuring 1m in thickness from north-east to south-west and 0.7m in width. A quartz strip runs upwards through the centre of the stones and is particulary visible on the south-east face. At least two further large long slabs of stone are lying in the field bank immediately to the south of the standing stone - it is very likely that these originally stood upright and were associated.
