'Among a number of ruined buildings and field walls on the west facing slopes of Carn Ingli is this ruined cottage and outbuilding. It is not shown on the tithe map, and seems to be a later encroachment onto open moorland. At the centre of the yard is a small two-roomed stone cottage (aligned across the slope) with a fireplace recess in the north gable. It had a narrow lean-to range along the rear wall. There are traces of smaller animal pens set against the boundary wall.'
