Fragmentary linear cropmark features, around the Waunlle cropmark enclosure complex (Nprn309251), appear to represent ditched elements of a rectilinear field system, oriented generally NNW-SSE, at varience with current field boundaries: east of the enclosure & apparently springing from a noticeable angle in its circuit, is an area, c.110m across, apparently subdivided , incorporating what appears to be a more clearly defined rectangular enclosure, c.30m ENE-WSW by 16m, at its north-eastern angle; firther features appear to represent the system, extending c.60m to the WSW & 150m SSE of the enclosure.
