Description
A cluster of three ring-ditch features at Bryn Bodfel, known from aerial and geophysical survey, and thought to represent ditched round barrows. The ring ditches are in the region of 25 to 30m in diameter and one shows a central feature, probably a pit. Trial excavation indicated that they originally enclosed turf-built mounds. Environmental analysis suggests that the mounds were raised on open grassland. There is an unconfirmed antiquarian notice of funerary urns, thought to be Roman.

The ring ditches are found in an area of relict field boundary features (NPRN 401898).
