DescriptionIntermittent parchmarks represent a roughly 830m stretch of a Roman road, part of the route running west from Carmarthen (NPRN 114111). The course of this stretch of road (running from SN09311841 to SN10121848) is rather sinuous, as it negotiates the head of a tributary valley leading west into the Cleddau. Quarry pits are apparent in the eastern area.
Next section recorded to the east = NPRN 401989, some 620m distant.
Next section to the west = NPRN 309028, some 800m distant.
