Description
1. A weir, leat and sluices marked on the 1887 OS 25in map indicate a former mill; however there are believed to be no remains of the mill itself which may date, according to local sources, from the sixteenth century. Probably associated with the nearby Cilgwyn Manor (nprn 17214).

2. A water mill is shown on on the north bank of the Afon Ydw on Rees's map of 14th century South Wales, one of two mills in the manor of Myddfai (1). The other mill is Felin Fran (NPRN 406417).
