Description
Various earthwork features set on north-west facing slopes:
At given NGR a pondbay, 20m north-west to south-east by 15m, depicted on OS County series (Brecknock. XVII.12 1889);
In the area of SO22304110 features may correspond with a long mound, c.36m by 11.5m & 1.5m high, noted in 1973 & subsequently rejected as a sepulchral structure (AW 13 (1973), 13 [No.5]; NAR SO24SW29);
About 60m north-west of Oakfield garden, an apparent terrace running about 160m north-east to south-west: other linear features may be associated with the Milford Haven to Liverpool oil pipeline, constructed 1973.
These features may be associated with the garden layout of Oakfield (Nprn 86091).
