Landscape sculpture created as a centrepiece for the Penallta Community Park from old coal spoil waste.

Completed in 1999, the 200 metre long artwork by Welsh landscape sculptor Mick Petts was named 'Sultan' by people locally after a famous pit pony called 'Sultan'.
