DescriptionA corn mill on the Nant Treflyn, tributary to the River Wye, and part of the Doldowlod Hall estate. All the machinery has been removed but a fine stone aqueduct with a fifteen-inch iron pipe carrying water to the mill remains. The mill appears on the Tithe Award Map of 1840 and was in use until the 1930s. A turbine was installed in the 1930s to generate electricity for the village and Hall but was scrapped in 1965 when a mains electricity supply became available.
