Earthworks of zig-zag practice trenches, possibly of First or Second World War date, surviving in heathland on Penrhyn Mawr. Oiginally identified by Medwyn Parry, RCAHMW, on historic vertical aerial photographs from the 1940s, aerial reconnaissance on 20 March 2005 confirmed the survival of at least one line of zig-zag trenching.
