A round cairn, some 16m in diameter & at least 0.4m high, one of a line of three laid out across an upland saddle; this monument appearsto be set upon a slight rise, overlooking Cairn II (Nprn303796 - a possible ringcairn), set about 90m to the north-west, & looking across to the similarly situated Cairn I beyond.
