Description
1. Remains of a World War II radar station of the Coastal Defence system, later Chain Home Low radar network, designed to detect enemy aircraft (particularly low-flying and high-flying aircraft) and to plot shipping in the Bristol Channel, lie on steep southwest-facing slopes overlooking the Bristol Channel. There are three rectangular concrete buildings with flat roofs. The station was probably constructed around 1942 and would have been originally manned by the army prior to the take-over of the system by the Royal Air Force.
