Description
Early 18th century farmhouse with a symmetrical facade and two rear wings. during the 19th century the interior of the house was refurbished, with a new staircase being inserted in the ground floor stairhall. On the 1843 Tithe Map it is marked simply as 'The Farm', owned by Edward Lloyd Powell and tenented by William Lloyd.

The farmhouse is three storeys, the south front and the north-east wing rendered with stone quions visible, and the north-west wing of exposed rubblestone. The roof is slate and hipped, with stone end stacks. The south elevation has a central 20th century glazed porch with a slate roof, which is flanked to either side by 16-pane sash windows. the first and second floor each have three corresponding windows, those on the first floor being 9-pane casements and those on the second floor being 6-paned casements. There are similar sash windows to the east elevation and the side wall of the rear wing.

At the rear of the house is a single storey lean-to, flanked to each side by the two-storey rear wings. The east wing houses the ground floor kitchen withan early 18th century faire surround incorporating a wooden spit rack as an overmanter, and attached to the end gable is a bread oven with a slate roof. The west wing has a flight of stone steps rising to an upper dairy which has a pig salting slab on brick piers.

The centrally placed entrace accesses a stairhall with the principal ground floor rooms to the left and right, that to the left having a moulded cornice. The ground floor rooms retain their panelled shutters and have moulded arcitraves with angle-blocks. the staircase has a rounded newel post and square balusters.
