Extensive area of uncleared ground to east of Brookfield farm, covering at least three fields and containing a number of large slabs, some piled one on top of another. Also within same fields is uncertain standing stone (DAT PRN 4556). It is entirely possible that other unrecorded prehistoric (and later) monuments survive within or beneath this spread of uncleared stone.
