An early box-framed house with integral fireplace converted to an agricultural building in the C19th with the construction of a new farmhouse. The plan of the house is outer parlour - passage with framed fireplace - hall - inner-room. The timberwork is lavish with several post-and-panel partitions. The hall seems to have been open in the first phase. Sampled as part of RCAHMW's 2004/5 tree-ring dating programme.
