Description
1. Oval cropmark enclosure defined by narrow ditch. Enclosure measures c. 148m east-west by c.84m north-south, and tapers to the west, towards the summit of a low ridge. Within the eastern part of the enclosure is a smaller, square enclosure at c. SH59547204. Discovered during RCAHMW aerial reconnaissance on the 27th July 2005.

2. The shape of the cropmark enclosure clearly belongs to a nineteenth century enclosure containing trees, as part of the parkland of Penrhyn Castle. Whether this rounded, triangular tree enclosure itself was built upon earlier foundations is unclear.
