Description
Small farmstead of 18th century origin consisting of a farmhouse, an adjoining range of farm buildings and a parallel range along the River Alyn. there are a number of 20th century sheds and structures adjacent to and around the core historic buildings. The farm ceased to be worked in the late 20th century, and the house and out buildings are in a state of deterioration.

The farmhouse is in origin a row of 17/18th century, single storey cottages converted to a two storey farmhouse in the early 19th century. The ground floor is constructed of random uncoursed rubble with the later brick first storey and stacks set forward of the ridge, slate roof. The front facade is assymmetrical, and is plain with no sign of decoration.
The house is of four bays, the ground floor having shallow 16 pane sashes, the first floor shallow 12-pane sash windows. All the windows have plain reveals, stone lintels and sills. There is a good 19th century gabled open timber porch, with bargeboards and a slate roof leading to a panelled door.
Internally the majority of the fittings are missing or of 20th century date, with some floors, architraves and moldings of 19th century date.
