A stone bridge constructed of two deep segmental arches supported by a massive central pier, and originally with stione parapets which were removed in the late 20th century when the bridge was widened. writing in the 17th century, Hugh Thomas described the bridge as a "stone bridge of two arches, one of them to be drawn up at pleasure".
