Description
The nucleus farm site of West Town, Llangennith. A house in this location (marked as Rice Hay / Plenty), which may possibly be this house, is shown on a map of 1752. Plenty is recorded in the Tithe Survey of 1844 as in the tenancy of John Chalk, with about 10 acres (4.047 hectares).

A small farmhouse of two storeys with a three window range to the front elevation. It has rough-cast rendering and a slate roof with tile ridge with rendered end chimneys, and there is a larger kitchen chimney to the left (north). The symmetrical front fenestration is a little offset to the right to allow space for this large kitchen chimney at left end, the windows being well-proportioned, four-pane, 19th century, timber casement windows in exposed frames and with stone sills. There is a decorative, 19th century, rendered pilaster strip at each of the left and right corners, and similar decorative render surround to the front door.

To the rear ia 19th century extension under a low-pitch roof.
