Description
The Ffynnon Las Ritual Complex is located on a broad sloping shelf on the bracken-grown, south-east-facing slope of Cefn Moel. The group of ritual monuments is comprised of three round cairns (NPRNs 403769, 403771 and 405331) and two standing stones (NPRNs 403770 and 403776). In a roughly linear alignment from north-west to south-east, the monuments are spread out over a distance of about 280m, with the stones lying between the two larger cairns, closer to the southernmost. The group lies between a trackway and the steeply rising slope of the ridge.

Located within 1 km of several Bronze Age round cairns, this complex of monuments forms a discrete group and an important element within a wider prehistoric ritual and funerary landscape. Although disturbed, the relatively good condition of the round cairns is such that they have considerable potential for preserved structural elements, burials and buried ground surfaces.
