The firm that became known as Cambrian Mineral Waters was founded in 1854 in Park Road, Ruthin. In 1857 premises in Prior Street were acquired and The Ruthin Soda Water Company was subsequently established, drawing water from a local artesian well. The firm closed in the 1980s and the Park Road site since demolished and built over.
