Aberaeron Forge is part of a terrace of three buildings; from south to north they are a wood-turning shop, a woollen mill (nprn 40834) and the forge itself, a single storey rubble building, home of the "Aberaeron spade". The waterwheel is believed to have supplied power to the forge but was removed after World War two and set on the road at the north end of the building where it lay until about1990; its fate is unknown.
