Description
Two of a row of 8 cottages, built as a single development c1800, the use of Picturesque vocabulary suggesting that they were built as part of an estate. Both are constructed of brick with slate roofs, two storeyed, each cottage with a single unit, double pile plan, with a doorway to the right and windows aligned on each floor. There are steep 2-centred arches to the doors, and segmental heads to the 2-light casement windows, with leading in the tympana. Each cottage has an end wall stack with moulded cap.
