Description
This pollarded ash tree at Coed y Gaer is located on pasture farmland at 230m above sea level at the junction of a now disused field boundary with an adjacent green lane. The bolling measures 4.45m (14' 7") in girth and it is approximately 2m (7') high. Four ancient stems, with secondary growth, spring from the bole. The tree is hollowed, and there is a vertical slot on its south-eastern side.
