    Description
    The home farm of the Downton estate. The double-pile farmhouse (SO23206055) is much rebuilt, but probably C17th in origin. The farmbuildings are ranged round two yards to the E. with an outlying steading to the N. at Lower Buildings. (RFS/2002)
