Description
A house dating to the mid 19th century, not appearing on the Tithe Map of the parish of 1840, and first mentioned in the parish census returns in 1861.

A small country villa, built in a simplified classical style, comprising a 2-storey, 3-window range, with a 2-storey wing set at right angles to the rear, and a single storey, central porch to the front. It has stucco elevations throughout, and a hipped slate roof with tall, rectangular, rendered end stacks with stressed drip courses and cornices.
The entrance elevation consists of a 3-window range, symmetrically planned, with a central porch and slightly recessed flanking bays. The windows are slightly recessed hornless sashes, those on the first floor being 12-pane, and those on the ground floor being 6 over 2-pane sashes. The porch has the entrance in the right return and a single, round-headed light to front. There are slightly stressed angles and a moulded cornice below a shallow parapet.
The side elevations have windows to the rear, the first floor examples being 12-pane sash windows, while the ground floor windows of the left hand return have 19-pane lights (2 panes are side-hung casements). The wing to the rear has modern windows.
