The Search House for male employees. On reporting for duty, men were searched and any matches, pipes, cigarettes and any articles likely to cause explosions were handed over. The building is described on OS 1/2500 (1877) as an office, the building is shown but not annotated on Nobel (1927). The building has been demolished.
