A two-storey double-fronted house, built before 1877, with stone walls and a slate roof, now modernised, extended and rendered, (No.54 on the Nobel Plan). Now known as Rose Cottage. A stone plaque with the inscription `C&H 1863' is inserted into the garden wall.
