Power for the cake press house (NPRN:405084) was provided by a pump house and a 6HP turbine situated immediately adjacent to the lower aqueduct (NPRN:405097). The structure (No.28 on the Nobel Plan) was in existence by 1877. Although the machinery has been removed, the masonry-built building survives reasonable intact, complete with its vaulted roof.
