Angle Lifeboat Station was completed in 1992 to replace the previous two Anlge lifeboat stations built in 1869 (NPRN 419980) and 1927 (NPRN 419978), constructed to accommodate better the Class D lifeboat that was in service at the time. The boathouse was subsequently adapted in 2008 to take the new Tamar class lifeboat which was delivered in 2009.
