Large square earthwork enclosure measuring approx. 114m across. It is formed of a single bank, with quarry ditches on both inner and outer faces, and several gaps which may not be original entrances. The earthwork does not look particularly old, and may be a former field, or even an enclosure for rabbit farming etc. The name 'Y Maes' could relate to a former use of the enclosure as a meeting site etc. Discovered during RCAHMW aerial reconnaissance on 17 May 2005 (frame: AP_2005_0392).
