DescriptionThe icehouse is located near the walled garden and is 8m from the pond. The entrance, above which is the date 1813, steps down into a partly open-roofed 3m long passage, which leads into a circular brick chamber: with a 2.9m diameter and 4.5m deep below level of passage. The mound is c.3.5m long and 1m high.
